Mississauga St. Michael's Majors

The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors of the Ontario Hockey League are one of the most prestigous franchises in the history of junior hockey in this country.

On July 7, 2011, it was announced that Roger Lajoie would become the Executive Vice-President of the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors.

Roger has been involved with the Majors for 11 years in various capacities.  He has been a contributing writer to stmichaelsmajors.com and been the play-by-play voice of the team on radio and television, most recently with Rogers TV Peel Region and The Haze FM.ca.  Roger has also covered the team for the Toronto Sun and Mississauga Life magazine.  When the team was still in Toronto, he spent time as the Director of Game Operations.  Most recently, he served as the Communications Co-Chair on the 2011 MasterCard Memorial Cup Committee.

In his vast experience in the sports industry, Lajoie has also worked for the Canadian Hockey League, the Ontario Lacrosse Association, the Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club and the Oshawa Generals Hockey Club.  He also served as the Business Manager of the Toronto Marlboros Jr. A Hockey Club when they played at Maple Leaf Gardens.
