Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball ClubThe Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball team of the Intercounty Baseball League have been a part of summer life in Toronto for nearly four decades.
The Toronto Maple Leafs Annual Baseball Forum and Reception is also an annual event which Roger is the MC of every May as well. Jack and Lynne Dominico always put on a great show and this year will certainly be no exception, as five former major league greats help the Leafs kick off their 40th anniversary season in the Intercounty Baseball League with a gala evening featuring a terrific dinner, a question and answer forum with fans and autograph session. Roger Lajoie has been involved with the IBL Maple Leafs since 1979. He will be emceeing the annual Forum once again this year and is the statistician and public address announcer for the Leafs, and also writes for the Leafs website and in the Toronto Sun during baseball season.
The 2007 season was Roger's 29th with the club and the 2008 season will mark his 30th anniversary with the team. He's done the P.A. and stats at Christie Pits for 590 games since his first season.
